Career Platform
Need a Career started as an idea on a napkin: one platform where a job seeker builds their plan and their application materials in the same place, and a recruiter can actually find the right person without digging through a shared inbox. We built it end to end, from the first wireframe to the production deploy.

The Challenge
Job hunting had turned into the same repetitive chore for every applicant we talked to — rewrite the resume slightly, guess at a cover letter, send it into a form, and never hear back. On the other side, recruiters were stuck with the mirror image of that problem: unsorted applications piling up with no consistent way to compare candidates.
A platform that only solved one side of that wouldn't have moved the needle. It needed to work for job seekers and hiring teams at the same time, built by one team that could see how a change on one side affected the other — not stitched together from separate tools that never talk to each other.
Our Approach
Rather than split the project across a designer, a separate development shop, and a bolted-on AI vendor, Earhart Labs owned every stage of this build directly — the wireframes, the interface, the AI writing tools, and the deployment. That mattered here specifically: a product like this lives or dies on small details, like how fast an AI-drafted cover letter actually reads, or whether a recruiter can shortlist someone in two clicks instead of ten. Those are exactly the decisions that get lost when work passes through a handoff chain.

For Job Seekers
The roadmap dashboard gives every job seeker a clear next step instead of a wall of job listings. Sitting right next to it is the part that actually saves time on a Sunday night.
For Recruiters
The other half of the platform is built for the team doing the hiring, so a role posted once can be reused the next time a similar position opens.
The Impact
40%
Increase in completed applications
Completed applications rose sharply once the resume and cover letter tools launched — job seekers finish what they start instead of abandoning a form halfway through because it's asking them to write from scratch again.
12min
Avg. time to first roadmap
That's how quickly a new user now goes from signing up to having a personalised roadmap in hand, down from an open-ended, choose-your-own-adventure homepage that told people nothing about what to do next.
“Completed applications are up 40% since launch, with new users landing a personalised roadmap in as little as 12 minutes.”

“Document turnaround dropped 65% in the first month — Docu Genie now runs as the operational backbone for teams processing thousands of documents a month.”

“99.9% platform uptime across 1,000+ coordinated shipments — the reliability a two-sided marketplace moving real cargo and real payments depends on.”

“What used to be a slow, manual grind is now a pipeline that runs on its own and delivers structured, enriched leads on demand.”

“Leads are answered instantly, meetings are booked on autopilot, and no customer falls through the cracks.”

“The team no longer hunts for files — they just ask, and the AI retrieves the exact answer straight from the company's own documents.”
